Total Body Boot Camp
(Wednesdays, 6am-7am): Why wait
until after the holidays to start your New Year
workout? AFAA certified fitness
instructor, Mary Manseau, will be teaching an
8-week class consisting of a cardiovascular
workout plus muscle endurance exercises. No
fancy choreography - just basic moves
incorporating power drills. Intensity is
intermediate (not for beginners), and all
participants are encouraged to work at his/her
own pace, taking it a little lower or higher.
Provided by the instructor: Cones,
medicine balls, and bands. You bring:
water, a mat, and indoor cross training sneakers
(leave your running sneakers at home - they do
not provide the lateral support you will
need). Class dates: Dec 3, 10, 17,
Jan 7, 14, 21, 28, Feb 4. Cost $45. Located in
the MVVS gymnasium/MPR.
To sign-up print

Mont Vernon Tree
Lighting
Join your
friends and neighbors to usher in the holiday
season with the Mont Vernon Tree Lighting on
Friday, December
5. The annual event will include crafts
for the kids and yummy refreshments. The Fire
Department will be holding their annual Tree and
Wreath sale, and for the first time, members of
the Mont Vernon Artisans will be selling unique
holiday cards. Events begin at 6:30pm with the
tree lighting ceremony commencing at 7pm.
Special door prizes for the first 50 families to
arrive.
